As I send this I am very nervous and very excited... We have been asked to open for Dana Parish for WNNS's 25th anniversary party on Saturday night.(Oh my gosh)
www.danaparish.com
www.myspace.com/danaparish
WNNS is having their 25 anniversary party Saturday night (6/7/2008) at the Field House (3211 E. Sangamon Avenue). We will open at 5:00 pm and play till 6:00 pm. Then Dana Parish will play for about a hour. We will return and play until about 9:00 pm.
And if all that wasn't enough, yesterday I was driving home from work and turned up the radio and I HEARD US PLAYING...It was "SAY ANYTHING"! I freaked out! I started calling everyone! "WE'RE ON THE RADIO RIGHT NOW!"
It was wonderful. (I cried a little and then called my mom)
Also, just when I thought I would calm down, WNNS is having us come to the studio Friday afternoon at about 4:30 to play a song or two and talk with us! (I can't breathe.)
So if you are at your radio tomorrow afternoon tune us in - 98.7 FM WNNS. We hope you'll all call the station and request them to play our cd afterward. And if you can, please come and enjoy this Saturday evening with Dana Parish and us. Go to her myspace and check it out and make plans to come. When you go to wnns.com their first page has links to everything! We are so thankful for your support. We hope to see you there. It would mean a lot. Thank you.
